Description:

Jurassic Park: Fact of Fiction - When the original Jurassic Park movie came out in 1993, it gave the most up to date look at dinosaurs and their behaviors. But we’ve learned a lot over the past 30 years. Join us to find out what still holds up, what doesn’t, and how close we are to using ancient DNA to create a real-life Jurassic Park.

About Kallie Moore: Kallie is an enthusiastic paleontologist and science communicator with a passion for bringing Earth’s ancient history to life. She serves as the Collections Manager, or "Fossil Librarian," of the paleontology collection at the University of Montana, where she helps preserve and study fossils that tell the story of prehistoric life.

Beyond the lab, Kallie is the co-host of the popular PBS Eons YouTube channel, where she shares fascinating stories about prehistoric creatures, mass extinctions, and evolutionary mysteries. Her expertise has also led her to work as a consultant for Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, where she helped update the beloved DINOSAUR ride. Additionally, she hosted a Smithsonian livestream celebrating the newly renovated Deep Time Hall at the National Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C.

In 2022, Kallie released her debut children’s book, Tales of the Prehistoric World, which takes young readers on an adventure through Earth’s ancient past. She is also an Executive Producer on Why Dinosaurs?, a documentary exploring the world’s enduring fascination with these incredible creatures.
